Stuff
the bus with school supplies! Working with the Alexandria
Jaycees, the second annual Stuff the Bus program is
underway. This program provides children with new school
supplies to assist them with their studies and to help build
self-esteem.
This
project needs the support of people like you. Backpacks are
given to each child and are filled with supplies such as
paper, pens, pencils, crayons, 3-ring binders, notebooks,
glue sticks, boxes of tissue, calculator, scissors, dry
erase markers etc.
You
can have a program to collect supplies at your business
between July 23 and August 23. United Way will pick up
supplies on August 19 and will fill the backpacks.
Backpacks will be distributed at Project Community Connect
on August 26. Agencies will be available to connect
families with services in Douglas County.

at 763-4840 to pre-register.
